The Start of the 2009-2010 School Year

Hey Sisterhood,

I just wanted to say that this year I'll try to do a weekly update on my blog...make it more active and be more informative to you gurls.

I had an awesome summer with all of you although my part time job got in the way a little. I already miss you gurls. Portland, weather wise, is similar to Hawaii, sunny and a little humid, it hasn't started raining or overcast yet. Please keep in touch via blogs or txt or calls or ims (skype, aim, msn etc).

Ok so I can't concentrate because i think i like this guy. He's awesome to talk to, and when ever we talk we never have boring conservations. I can't seem to get him out of my head. I'm so confused...=[

Ho Crap...almos a month n i neva update...hehehe

Hey peoples...hehehe sorry about not updating, um...

this past week i was stressing because it was Halloween and i got involved with helping my dorm hall, i attend hall council meetings every weel (try to at least, i've missed like 2 or 3 so far-not alot), so i was busy decorating the lobby last wednesday, i made banner by myself with my sharpies-i might have gotten high off them-i need to get more cuz more than half are almos out of ink =[. I also decorated my door for door decoration contest-i drew Snoopy and woodstock free hand...they took several tries on newspaper-didn't win anything tho, judges came by on friday. thursday i had to help with my hall's charity fund raiser, punpkin carving, wasn't too bad. but i didn't sleep til like 1:30 friday morning, the day i had a theology midterm, on buddhism and judaism. i also did a stress relief shopping on thrusday, because i also needed to get candy for trick o treaters-i only shopped at forever 21, got some cute stuff! =] i didn't buy a ton of stuff =].

ok here's an update and i'm so sorry about noe updating weekly, school is boring so i'm on facebook more often than not. there are some cute guys but i'm in an all women's dorm so i don't get to see tons and tons of guys but pay off is that the rooms in my dorm are wayy bigger than the other dorms =D
um...ENG 107 is awesome this past week we had to turn in an essay on TV/Film, we had to do a cultural analysis. watching tv for class...AWESOME!!!
tomorrow i have to turn in a brief summary on three blogs and if i blog and what not. i have yet to find three blogs
anyone eva heard of ooVoo? u can video chat with up to 6 people at one time! awesome! get it please, i can send out invites if need be.

anyone have anyblogs sites that update at least 2x a week? i need three of them and the ones that i had in mind are crap.

i tried to upload a video but it wasn't working. i'll attempt it again using the cable (i was using wireless the first dozen times i tried to upload videos. >.>)

um i'll try try to update this week since there's no school for me! yay! fall break! some ppl are going home! such a waste of money...=D i'll upload pics too soon...after the blog assignment is done.

I got so bored of being stuck here on campus that this past saturday i went to the portland saturday market. bought some stuff...

GUESS WHAT!!!! my mom sent me a NEW CAMERA!!! yay! *victory dance*
um...i have some pics from ohana camp...i finally went to fred myers yesterday and developed 2 of the 3 disposable cameras i brought from home...project grad pics didn't turn out too good...lame.
i uploaded some pics from the developed film on to face book. i have no pics of the 3 guys i like...well it's going down to 1 guy...zach
i'll try to take pics of all the new friends i made and of my room and of the guys i like so u can see them and make a verdict

i had a test in theology today. it was on chapter 3 which was on hinduism...a wierd test. it's like multiple choice but you circle all correct answers so if there were 4 choices, there's a possibility that all 4 choices could be the right answer so you would have to circle all 4 choices. i THINK i did pretty good...maybe not tho...i didn't really study for it...ik it's still trying to manage my procrastination habbits....

anyway i'll try to do another update tonite with pics from the new camera. =D

Summary of week 1 and update for this week

ok so recapping of last week:
roommate is awesome, we have so much in common, room arrangement is awesome. Roommate has a funny hidden side to her...she appears to be super shy and quiet, total opposite once you get to know her.
school...uh we had classes yesterday, on Labor Day, i know sucky but we get break in the middle of the semister, Fall break, it's a week long break...totally awsome.
classes...i have on mondays ENG 107 (College Writing), THE 101 (Intro to Rel and Theo), BUS 100 (Intro to Leadership), MTH 121 (Calculus Business and Social Science), and Bus 101 (Software Apps Workshop), in that exact order, tuesdays ECN 120 (Macroeconomics), and BUS 001 (1st year workshop), wednesdays and fridays ENG 107, THE 101, BUS 100, and MTH 121, and thrsdays ECN 120...practically dying in cal...

This week:
doing pretty good with cal hwk...asking a friend who is a engineering major to help me...he's really good at explaining things...

College Life:
going to sign up for club and intrumal soccer...going to start writing snail mail letters now that i kno that most of you are at your respective colleges...will start taking pictures with cell then hopefully print it out...but i'll have to get photo paper...so lame...will try to do vlogs but well see...

i hang out with this girl kelsey (look her up on facebook, she's one of my friends) she hangs out with this guy that's totally awesome...only bad part is that if we start going out and break up than that puts kind of a strain on our friendship, but he's supper funny and super cool to talk to. kels says that we flirt pretty much every time we're by each other, except when she and him are training me (in running...it sucks cuz i haven't been running in so long...so outta shape). But it's cool cuz i'm getting better...and my stanima is getting better....
there is also this other guy i kinda like...he ALSO plays soccer...he is also thinking of doing yoga (which is what i was thinking) and he's ALSO super easy to talk to and he's funny. we are on the same team in by BUS 100 class...
...well see how this goes...i'll keep you posted.

summery of first day of classes and today

well classes yesterday were ok...my english teacher gave the class an assignment that's due on friday, n my religion teacher gave us an assignment that's due tomorrow, same with business class. so i have 4 classes MWF and 1 class TR 1 workshop every M and a support group thingy every T 16 credits total...not too busy...yet
macroecon is awesome! i like it...it's more of a lecture class, but the teach said dat if u do the reading n take notes den take notes in class u should have no probs with the exams n finals...

First day ...

so classes are cool...i love my roommate check facebook she's natasha and uber cool! she puts up with me n my new crazy friends...
uh can't really thing of anything worth writing....maybe i'll do another update later...


OH! just reamembered....uber LAME cuz this site will NOT upload my video for me to do my first vlog and for me to show u guys my dorm room and my roommate! uber lame!

end of oreintation weekend...

answering marcia's comment, my class 2012 is the biggest class on campus, to in 1 of 2 all guy dorms, they had to change the basement area which used to b a study room to dorm rooms to 6 guys share a HUGE ASS room...i think there are like 2 rooms so in total the basement houses like 12 guys at once so yea their dorm room is huge + a living room kinda area...LAME IK!!!
anyway my roommate and i have the biggest dorm room for women on campus, only it's in a hall of 8 floors of ALL WOMEN. to the right of our dorm is an all guys' dorm...2 floors and they sang to us on friday (all the guys in Villa Maria sang to all the women in Mehling) it was cute i have a video of it filmed from my cell =D
one of the bad things is that all the guys on campus are practically a foot taller than me! i feel like a shrimp!!! but the guys are cute to HOT!!!
i ofically moved into my dorm on thursday and i met my roommate on friday, she is super awesome but shy around ppl she don't know
another thing, i don't have a digital camera cuz mine broke...so LAME!!! so idk how i'm gonna get u guys pics and everything...sorry!!!

No internet contact for a week...

Hey people so sorry I haven't been updating my blog or on instant messaging or on facebook...
I arrived in Portland safely, went shopping the day I came in...went on a camp/retreat from tuesday to thursday, oreintation all friday, and today...but i was finally able to get internet after a week...oh did i mention that i was one of the few who didn't have their cell at the camp/retreat cuz i was following the rules on the packing list (which said no cells and digital cameras)...so lame yea? anyway just wanted to give u guys an update on my boring college life...i'll hopefully be able to post pics of my dorm room...it's supposidly (sp?) bigger than pretty much all the other dorm rooms on campus except for the new rooms in a different dorm (guys dorm) but it is the biggest dorm room for women on campus.
